Montgomery dashed over to you and punched Scott. “Oh my god Montgomery why the fuck did you do that for” you went and looked at Scott’s face. “You leave for 5 minutes because you’re mad at me and now you’re going to kiss Scott. Babe what the fuck.” “I wasn’t going to kiss her. She asked me to check if you left a hickey somewhere she couldn’t see” “Oh shit baby I’m so sorry,” Monty said hugging you.
“Don’t apologize to me apologize to Scott for hitting him” You pushed Monty off of 3eyou and walked away.
“That fucking hurt Montgomery.” “Yeah whatever I don’t care I don’t get why she’s still mad.” “Maybe because you fucking jumped to conclusions and thought I was kissing her and punched me. You get jealous easier then she does you know. That’s probably why she’s mad.” Monty groaned knowing he has fucked up once again.
During cheer practice you kept messing up your routine. Which stressed you out.
“Are you going to Bryce’s party after the game?” Jessica asked during your break. “Monty will be there. So probably not.” “Y/N are you still mad at Monty?” “How’d you know?” “You usually don’t mess up your routine unless you and Monty are ‘fighting’ and you obviously are ‘fighting’ due to you not wanting to go to a party with Monty” she said putting quotes around fighting. “I’m not mad at him about that bimbo flirting. I’m mad at him because he punched Scott just because he thought Scott was going to kiss me.” “Oh, I see. Yeah, I’d be mad too if Justin were to do that but I understand why Monty did it. I mean he thought one of his friends was going to kiss you. You’re pretty much his girl.” “Technically not Jessica we aren’t dating.” “Labels or not, Y/N, he’s yours and you’re his.”
“Okay girls I have an announcement to make,” Your coach announced ending yours and Jessica’s conversation and caused all of you to turn and look at her direction. “So, the athletic director of our school wants to try out this new thing where the squad will cheer for the baseball team during their games.” “Why are we cheering during baseball games they need concentration while batting?” one of your teammates asked. “They want you girls to pump up the crowd for when they bat and have them cheer along with you. Nobody tell the guys about it they want it to be a surprise only the coach knows and I hope you guys don’t mind.” “I’m sure Y/N won’t mind since she’ll see her man playing,” one girl giggled.
The whole school knows about you and Monty’s “relationship” so jokes like that doesn’t tick you off.
After school you went to go grab some food with Jessica really quick and went back to school immediately to practice your cheer for the baseball game. You didn’t really want to go to the game knowing you’ll be seeing Montgomery but as a captain it’s your obligation to go to the game. An hour before the game started you along with your team walked to the baseball field and continued your practice there. The baseball team obviously liking this surprise as they will be able to see girls in short cheer outfits while they practice. This was the worst hour of your life because you and Monty could not stop staring at each other. He’d be staring at you and you’d catch him. You would be staring at him while he’s batting and he’d look at you before he bats. Sometimes he’d just plain out stare at you while you’re doing your flips.
You were practicing your dance and the boys started hollering at you when you had to bend over for one part of it. “MONTGOMERY IS BANGING THAT NICE ASS OVER THERE!” Bryce yelled causing the team to laugh. “MONTY DOES THAT ASS FEEL GOOD FOR YOU!” “MONTY YOU SHOULD SHARE SOME OF THAT HOTNSS WITH US!” one of his team mates yelled causing the team besides Monty Jeff Scott and Zach to laugh while you rolled your eyes at the comment about you. “WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SAY JACKSON (I made him up)!” You looked over at Monty Knowing he was the one that yelled at the player. The coach separated Monty from Jackson before he could do anything to him. You looked at Monty and he stared at you back then you gave him a smile as your way of thanking him. He smiled back knowing that comment like that make you extremely uncomfortable. Unless those comments were from him though only if he knows you’re in a good mood will he ever comment those things to you.
The crowd started to finally come around and you guys were started doing your chants. The opposite team was batting up first so Scott and Monty were practicing pitching the ball at each other and you can see Monty was throwing the ball hard to Scott.
The game was about to start and you saw Montgomery in the middle of the field at the pitcher’s plate.
“Before we start the game. Y/N, baby I am so sorry for letting that girl flirt with me and for punching Scott. You mean a lot to me baby girl so please forgive me.”
His coach yelled at him to go to the third plate so the game can start already. He looked over at you and you smiled at him. He made a heart sign to you and you giggled then blew him a kiss which caused him to smile. Your teammates awed at your interaction with each other. It was always easy for you to forgive Monty since you like him so much. Even if he were to do something stupid like that you knew Monty doesn’t mean any harm to you.
You and your team started chanting for the team while you smiled as you were not able to contain your excitement due to the fact that you get to see Monty after the game and you knew that you were going to go to Bryce’s party together.
